464 Naval Brass (Tobin Bronze)

Overview

464 Naval Brass is widely used in the marine industry because of its improved resistance to corrosion and de-zincification, particularly in salt water.

This material also has reasonable machining properties, and is typically used for manufacture of bolts, shafts, spindles, fittings and other marine components. The processes used to manufacture 464 Naval Brass are strictly controlled to ensure that the material is uniform and within specification.
